I’m not going to bash Valentines, or maybe I am. I know there are a lot of anti-Valentines fans out there and, I do know there are many and many of millions of people who just love this holiday. But I don’t care what you’re opinion is, there are some facts that we can all agree on:
- Everything “romantic” is much more expensive on February 14th, and the days leading up to it.
- Restaurants are usually all booked up
- Flights and hotels are generally more expensive as well.
So you get what I’m trying to say here.
Valentine’s day may be a good romantic date night. But for a wedding, it’s probably not a good idea. Because if you get married on February 14th, that means that forever, till death does you two apart, everything will be more expensive and harder to come by. Do you want to go out to dinner to celebrate your wedding anniversary? Oh, well, you better plan that months in advance.
If you choose to get married on any other day other than Valentines Day, you’ll probably save yourself a lot of stress and a lot of money.
Now with that being said – the day after Valentines, things are usually a bit cheaper. I’m not implying anything here. I’m just saying…..
