It’s the New Years – And Now It’s Officially Booking Time for your Hawaii Wedding.

Non-Traditional-Hawaii-Wedding2-300x225 It's the New Years - And Now It's Officially Booking Time for your Hawaii Wedding.

On the North Shore

I’m not sure what it is, but when the New Years rolls around, my phone starts ringing, emails start rolling in – they are all wedding inquiries for the upcoming year.  Every year it never fails.  One that ball drops in NYC, inquiries start rolling in like mad.  My opinion is that once the holidays are over with, and the family is back home, brides now have time to focus on planning their wedding.

And something tells me, if you’re reading this, you’re ready.

So with that being said, here are some quick links and info, to get you started in the right direction

OAHU WEDDING PACKAGES

I’m based on the island of Oahu, but my company plans weddings on all islands.   If you’re inquiring with my company, you are most likely interested in a wedding on Oahu.  The pros of getting married here on Oahu is that we have the most white sand beaches out of any island.  The other islands are rather rocky.   The negatives?  Well, we have some of the worst traffic in the United States (during rush hour, and only during rush hour).

I have two packages here that just consist of the base essentials to get married in Hawaii:  a minister and a photo package.  Ever additional service (limo, flowers, wedding singer, video coverage) are just extra line ala carte items that you can add to your base package.  I’ve created my packages this way to let you control exactly how you want to spend your money.

That’s a real rainbow! Rainbows mean rain, by the way!

GETTING YOUR MARRIAGE LICENSE

Obtaining your marriage license is insanely easy.   There’s no blood test or waiting period.   You can even get your marriage license on the weekend through an independent wedding agent.

I’M YOUR WEDDING PLANNER, PHOTOGRAPHER, AND VIDEOGRAPHER

I’ve been in the wedding industry for 20 years of my life!  All I can say is that time flies.  I started when I was 19, and I’m 39 now.   Hate to brag here, but I probably know more about wedding planning that most wedding professionals around who are older than me – haha.   Ask me a question about wedding planning, and I’ll give you a very honest answer.

All the photos and videos that appear on my website are my own.

My competitors feature photos from other photographers (not to mention my photos).  As a client, you just never know who they’ll hire as a photographer or videographer for your wedding.   You may get a professional, a college student, or a guy who got a camera for a Christmas present.

With me, you know who you’re getting – ME!

So if you like my work, you can use my packages.  If you don’t like my work, you can always hire another photographer and use my services for everything else.  I’m 100% cool with that.  But the point is at least you know there is a consistent quality when you deal with me.

STEPS TO PLANNING YOUR WEDDING

There used to list three steps to getting married in Hawaii.  Now I’m narrowing that down to two:

  1. Have a wedding date in mind, or a target “area” that you want to get hitched.
  2. Call me.  (808) 479-0685 or 1-800-WED-IN-HAWAII or email me at info@dreamweddingshawaii.com

I pretty much do everything around here, from photography and video production, to the organization of all of my weddings. As you can see, I'm also the head writer too! If for some reason you can't reach me at my direct line, or my toll free number, feel free to hit me up on my company cell at (808) 479-0685. Call anytime...well, almost anytime. Don't call on Super Bowl Sunday or when the Philadelphia Eagles are playing!
