HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!
A quick update on what's been going on in my life, and looking forward
I'm 32, but I swear I must be getting old. New Years, for me, actually isn't very big for myself or my family. Unlike Christmas, there is no party go to. There is no popping fireworks. It's just usually, me at home, resting. I did though have a fun New Years Eve last year, when my friend invited me to a party, where I shot off my first aerial fire-cracker! And the year before that, I spent it on a plane flying to New Orleans, to watch Hawaii play in the Sugar Bowl! This year though, was like a laid back one. I wanted to get as much rest as I could so I could prepare myself for the onslaught of the work the laid ahead.
My work schedule looked a little like this:
- January 1st: 3 weddings, starting at 11am, running till 11pm
- January 2nd: 1 wedding
- January 3rd: 1 wedding
Yes, I had five weddings, in the course of 3 days. So January 3rd rolled around, and my Eagles played Dallas, and lost horribly. I watched it on the DVR when I got back home. Ugh....
Honestly, wedding work isn't that hard. It just mentally and physically wears on me if I do it too many days in a row. I'm happy to say, that my next wedding isn't till the 9th, this Saturday. So, as you might expect, I'm resting in. I am still working though, I'm just not "in the field." I have videos to edit, emails to answer, and video games to play...hahaha.
I'll be blogging more about some wedding couples tomorrow. Be on the lookout! Until then....Live long, and sleep...
Steve

Happy 2010 to you also. Sounds like a busy time of year for you. Why do people get married around the holidays. To much stress!! Sounds like you have a pretty good gig so go enjoy your video games!
