I hate to brag here but I'm probably one of the best prepared residents on the island for a blackout....Seriously!! The reason, well, I love my football, and I won't stop any power outage from stopping me watch my Eagles march their way to the superbowl.

At the moment, it's about 10:30pm and power has been on out the island since 6:30am. I've hooked my DirecTV, lights, and computer to a generator, so I'm bascially okay for the time being...or until I run out of gas. Power is supposed to come on 12 hour from 6:30pm..so sometime tomorrow morning we should be okay.

The crazy thing is that people are freaking out like usual. There are people heading to supermarkets, buying up toilet paper, etc..etc....even though we're probably going to be with power come tomorrow. I know by tomorrow morning, Home Depot and a lot of hardware supply stores will be out of generators.

Anwyay...what a way to spend the day after Christmas!!! Seems pretty cool if you ask me! As for me. It's business back to usual tomorrow morning. I'm going to try to get access to my emails. My phone lines hopefully will be working, but I'm not sure. The phone lines may be down for a bit..... anyway, everything here in Hawaii is a.o.k. We should be back into the swing of things by tomorrow morning. It's just strange seeing the entire island out of power again....for the second time in two years or so..
