Well, it's been months since I have updated this blog. I've just been slammed to the wazoo with weddings and with the other companies that I own: I Heart Kona Coffee and Canoe Girl Productions. As many of you know, I am also a television producer, and I am working on an very in depth instructional video series as we speak. At one time this had limited my work on many weddings as we had begun production. Well, the great news is that I no longer will limit my work on weddings as my day-to-day involvement in my video has greatly been reduced due to the fact that I had hired on two great screenwriters and an exec. producer to take this product smoothly through pre-production.

So you're probably saying to yourself. Steve you married Jennifer Lopez? I can't believe it! We'll, yes and no. I married J-Lo, the un-diva'd, low maintenance, very very nice one...not the mean J-Lo who fired her last assistant for standing in her shadow.

Dave and Jennifer's love story is a rather unique one. They had originally HATED each other with a passion. They could not stand the sight of each other in the beginning stages of their relationship. Of course, this was all due to miss communication. Dave, who had been enrolled in Jennifer's class, missed three classes due to his son breaking his leg. Jennifer was not aware of Dave's situation, so she droped him from the class due to his absense. I guess she thought Dave was some type of slacker. Well, the grudges started from there and they basically literally hated each other from that day on. They couldn't stand the sight of each other, let alone to hear the other's name echoed in certain circles.

That would all change one day though. At an event they had both showed up at, Dave apologized and well, they started talking the night away. The next day, Dave wrote her an email telling her how great a time he had at the event and that he wanted to ask her out. Jennifer agreed, so their first date was at the zoo.... (okay all together now "aawwwwwwwweeee...)

From there, it was all smooth sailing. Their hate had transformed into a passionate love fest which resulted in a beautiful wedding and a new beginning for both of them. Oh, and did I mention that they have a kid on the way now! Hmm...maybe they'll name their first born after their wedding guy. Hmmm....it could be the start of a trend.

So ladies and gents, what can we learn from the magical love story of Dave and Jennifer Lopez. That you just never know who your soulmate could be. Their story, while very unique, is not that unsual. I have had many couples who didn't like each other when they had first met. Isn't that strange. Hmmm....you know, I've always wondered if Eve gave Adam the cold shoulder.

Anyway peeps. I'm outta here. I have a wedding on the Navatek today. Isn't that pretty cool! My next update will be of a wedding couple of a guy who played in the NFL before!!!
