Well, it's my birthday today! Yes, I made it to the big two-nine, and I have to say that I actually am starting to feel pretty old!! It feels like it was just yesterday when I wrote my first script and was living in L.A. How I ever exactly transitioned into the wedding industry, well, that's always for another interesting story.

Like every other old fart, my life has been filled with the usual up's and down's of a roller coaster, but I'm very proud to admit that I have always remained an optimist even in the toughest of times. To put it simply, it's really hard for me to take life serious sometimes. Laughter is what I center my life around. In fact, I recommend all of my wedding couples to laugh whenever possible.

So what I have I learned so far in the last twenty-nine years of my life? I can list 10 things...haha.

1. Up-up-down-down-left-right-left-right b,a b,a select - start will give you 30 lives in Contra
2. Without faith, hope, and love, you cannot accomplish anything...from marriage to business
3. Love is not an emotion, but a commitment
4. College can teach you everything except how to dream and how to make money.
5. Wealth is subjective.
6. You can't save your way to a million dollars, but you sure can invest your way to it.
7. Never mistaken optimism for blindness, or negativity for the truth.
8. Hollywood measures marriages in dog years.
9. You never know which stranger you bump into next will become your best friend, wife, enemy, or foe.
10. Making brownies is a lot harder than it looks.
11. BONUS ONE - 24 is the greatest tv show in the world.
