I GUESS IT'S TIME FOR AN UPDATE!!!
Now let me get the belated greetings out of the way. Happy Belated Christmas, New Years, and Chinese New Years! If not many of you know, but I am a 4th or 5th generation Chinese. Chinese New Years, well, it was a great time of the year for me. Chinese have this great tradition of giving money to kids during this time of the year. And lets just say, that when you're younger...twenty dollars is the equivalent to a million dollars. These days, I don't get as much money from my relatives. I did get ten dollars from my grandmother, which was really cool. It is the thought that actually counts! Plus that ten dollars goes toward my gas fund....

My family!
Starting form the left. My mom, Torsie Young, me, and my dad, Bill Young.
Yes...I am the only child.
I really love it this time of the year. 24, my favorite tv show starts. The playoffs and Superbowl are happening. American Idol is starting. And there are not many weddings around this time of the year, so I can really stay in the office and work. Talking about TV shows, there's a "Skating with Celebrities" show that plays before 24. It's really not that bad. I'm not about to become a fan of figure skating, but geez, is it fun to watch these celebreties fall hard on the ice.
I actually have a wedding update that I would really like to post right now.
I actually had the greatest opportunity to help Sherie and Joshua tie the knot here in Hawaii. They are both wonderful people, but what makes it even more special is that Josh was a former Navy Seal who had broken his back while overseas defending our freedom. Through the grace of God, he can walk again. Even better, he's actually a triathlete, so he's more than fully recovered.
I don't have any pictures of their wedding as I had to get their pictures and video to them a few days after they tied the knot. Didn't have time to scan them.
But what an honor it was to actually help someone who defended my freedom to be an American.
Brides, grooms, take much care of yourself. I'll try to be stopping by as much as I can. I still need a few more wedding videos to push out, and those always take some prority over this blog. In the meantime though...if you want, check out this video at http://www.dreamweddingshawaii.com/ailina.htm It's a great wedding video that pulls upon my skills as a former professional screenwriter and television producer. This wedding couple had asked me (and paid a little more) to shoot their wedding..reality style. It's a little different. the minister by the way, isn't ours.
