Our Past Weddings...

Aloha and welcome to our Recent Wedding Page, or what I like to call it, my company blog. This is where I get to write about my most recent weddings. I'll post as often as I can about each wedding, and a little off-topic wedding blogs as well (Just to keep it interesting). Couples have told me that they love this part of my site the best as they tend to get to know about me and my company more from my postings. Don't forget to call us if you're interested in our services at 1-800-557-1310 or email us at info@dreamweddingshawaii.com

Lindsay and Richard Winter's

Lindsay and Richard's Wedding!!! May 14, 2005 Secret Cove at Turtle Bay

I got Lindsay's inquiry about 4 months prior to her wedding. She wasn't sure when her wedding was going to happen because her fiance, Richard, was in Iraq, scheduled to return. His return I believed had been delayed, so consequently, so were her wedding plans. I couldn't imagine being in her shoes. She was also planning to move to Hawaii, where her future husband was stationed, and planning to attend our local community college. Somehow, we got into a conversation about scheduling classes, and her trouble to find coherent online. I told her that I would pop into my car our conversation and to pick up some college planning things from our college, which was right down the street from me. I did so, mailed it right to her the next day.

A few months passed and Lindsay got word that Rich was headed down. I was really relieved that he was back, safe, and that we could go on with wedding. Lindsay chose to get married at the Secret Cove at Turtle Bay, my most favorite location. Offically, it's called Kawela Bay. There's a huge array of things to shoot by, on, or around at that area. There is also very little wind there, which is perfect for brides who wish to do the hair down, long train thing.

The wedding went great, as with the picture taking.

Doesn't this place look familiar?

Are you sure you don't recognize this place...

Well, if you haven't figured it out yet. This is where they film that hit TV show LOST. It's a funny thing, when I first saw the previews for LOST, I thought it was the stupidest show in the world. I also thought it was Jurassic Park 4. And I also thought it was THE HOBBIT, because I saw that Hobbit guy running through the forest. But you know, that show is really really good. My favorite character is John Locke, the former handicapped milita guy. Is that guy crazy or what! My favorite show is 24 though. The one that stars Keifer Sutherland. Yes, the documentary 24. Haha. And I thought I had a rough day.

Back to the wedding....

The great news is that everything did finish on a high note. Their pictures turned out great, every single one of the them. And I had yet another happy customer.
